      • Providers managing investments on behalf of clients.
    5. Crowdfunding and Peer-to-Peer Lending Platforms:
      • Companies facilitating alternative finance.
Steps to Obtain an FMA License

 

    1. Preparation:
      • Applicants must evaluate the type of license required based on their services.
      • They need to meet minimum standards for governance, risk management, and operational capacity.
    2. Documentation:
      • Submit business descriptions, organizational structures, financial stability evidence, and compliance policies.
    3. Online Submission:
      • Applications are processed via the RealMe login system through the FMA portal.
    4. Review and Approval:
      • FMA assesses applications to ensure eligibility under FMC Act standards. Applicants may need to revise or provide additional evidence​
